Our dedicated QHSSE department has developed and implemented food and feed hygiene and safety procedures which ensure that Move Intermodal’s services evolve in line with the increasingly high quality and safety demands in the food industry.
These procedures include intensive training of all stakeholders. Planners and drivers are continuously trained in order to provide outstanding services which comply with industry standards like HACCP and GMP.
All our transports are handled according to the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). By applying its 7 principles and 14 steps, Move Intermodal can preventively control hazards and ensure food safety.
These HACCP principles form the foundation of our FSSC 22000-certified food safety management system, overseen by our multidisciplinary HACCP team.
Our food safety management system is certified to FSSC 22000, a GFSI recognised standard and one of the most widely accepted food safety frameworks worldwide. It brings together our HACCP principles, documented processes, risk management, traceability and continuous training into one independently audited system. For you, it means reduced risk, compliance with stringent market and retailer requirements, and the assurance that safe handling is verified rather than assumed.
