For our office in BE-Genk we are looking for a Truck Planner (1,0 FTE).


✓ You  will join the operations team as a Transport Planner.

✓ You are responsible for scheduling drivers in the most profitable way, taking into account:

o Minimize operational costs (empty kms, most optimal combinations, waiting hours, customer opening hours, booked time slots and closing trains)

o Customer service expectations to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction

✓ A daily follow-up of all drivers is necessary to keep everything on track. You are in daily contact with drivers, subcontractors and other operational departments to pursue the highest  possible service level for customers.

✓ Further you take care of the correct administrative processing of the transport in our TMS system so that a constant follow-up of all resources is possible as well as correct invoicing.

✓ In this position, you report to the Team Leader Truck Planning.


✓ You are looking for a big dose of responsibility, you get a kick out of the daily stress that planning brings and solving problems proactively is a matter of course for you

✓ You have strong communication skills, logical reasoning ability, a positive attitude.

✓ You are analytically strong and are a great team player.

✓ You have completed a bachelor’s degree in logistics. Professional experience in a similar position is a must.

✓ You have a very good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing. Knowledge of German, French and/or Italian is a big plus.

✓ You have a strong geographical knowledge. You have knowledge of driving and resting times, CMR and ADR legislation within Europe.

✓ You know MS Office perfectly.
