Sales Manager

For our Benelux Team we are looking for a Sales Manager (1,0 FTE).

Function

  • You will enforce the Benelux sales team as a creative and dynamic Sales Manager for both local and international customer base
  • You will build good and structural relationship with prospects and customers to acquire new business to maximize the company’s turnover and gross margin in function of its strategy
  • You will generate new business by: generating and following up leads; visiting prospects and customers in the Benelux and other countries; representing the company at public events
  • You will manage offers by: ensuring correct and complete information is provided to the Pricing Team; following them up; negotiating and responding appropriately and adequately to customers’ questions; registering them in the CRM system
  • You will report to the Sales Director Intermodal

 

Profile

  • You are ambitious. You are social, you have a large dose of responsibility, flexibility and can work both independently as in a team
  • You like travelling and meeting new people
  • We set many challenges, but we expect a pro-active attitude to create this for yourself
  • You preferably have have professional experience in logistics for at least 3 years in a similar function
  • You are proficient in Dutch and English. Basic knowledge of German, French and/or Italian is a complementary advantage
  • You have strong geographical knowledge and understanding of transport legislation in Europe
  • You have strong communication skills, logical reasoning, pro-active problem-solving ability and analytical skills
