HR Assistant

For our office in BE-Genk we are looking for an HR Assistant (1,0 FTE).


  • You will join our positive Human Resources team in Genk, where you will play a key role in supporting various HR-related tasks.
  • Together with the HR manager, you will be responsible for managing, processing, finalizing and controlling the payroll and all additional processes.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our HR software, AFAS. Your duties also include managing, generating and identifying data.
  • With your knowledge of Social Legislation, you support our Belgian employees on HR-related issues.
  • You actively support the soft HR part of the organization, such as guiding the competence program within Move. You contribute to the development of training courses and programs to improve the competences of our employees.
  • You report to the Human Resources Manager, Wendy Weerts.


  • You hold (min. 2) a bachelor’s degree in HR Management.
  • You already have several years of experience (min. 2) in the HR sector or in equivalent positions with thorough knowledge of payroll. Knowledge of AFAS Software is a plus.
  • You work accurately, strive for perfection and like to think along with the company and especially with your team.
  • Working independently is self-evident for you, administrative tasks do not scare you off at all, your communication skills are excellent and you naturally attach great value to discretion.
  • You have great ambition to develop yourself in this HR role, but above all to become that green heart of the organization.
  • Your knowledge of MS Office (Word – Excel – PPT) is excellent.
  • You have a very good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
