For our office in BE-Genk we are looking for a Business Engineer (1,0 FTE).


  • You will join our dynamic Excellence Center and facilitate, challenge and support the organization.
  • You are responsible for project planning and obtaining project objective conform determined timing and budget. You measure and inform about project progress and will be able to participate in existing and new projects.
  • You will formalize, improve, review and analyze (new) processes. You determine and implement procedures also will you provide in process/system related training.
  • You support second line ad hoc functional and technical problem solving related to processes. You will notice structural problems, suggest solutions.
  • You are responsible for translating new technologies into opportunities for the group and will identify /evaluate/procure/implement new IT Technologies /applications to improve automation.
  • You will report to the Chief eXcellence Officer.


  • You have obtained a bachelor’s degree, preferably in logistics or process management.
  • You have knowledge of good written communication (email).
  • You are creative, love to work in team flexible and act with intention for the organization’s goals and interests.
  • You have market knowledge (technology) and a good understanding of transport business.
  • You have a very good ICT knowledge also MS Office, TMS system and of continuous improvement methods.
  • You have a very good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
